WE TOOK THE LEAP

Beauties we have MAJOR news: COVERGIRL does not test on animals and now we’re Leaping Bunny certified by Cruelty Free International, which means we’re Cruelty Free across ALL our products, EVERYWHERE we’re sold.

CRUELTY FREE, FOR EVERYONE

At COVERGIRL, we believe that you shouldn’t have to choose between the beauty products you love and the values you believe in. As the biggest makeup brand* to achieve Leaping Bunny certification in partnership with Cruelty Free International, we’re committed to getting affordable, ethical makeup into the hands of anyone who wants it.

THE BIG PICTURE

Our Leaping Bunny certification means we’re certified Cruelty Free across all our products, everywhere we’re sold. But we want this to be bigger than us. We are what we make up, makeup wearers and makeup makers alike. So we’re inviting all other makeup brands to begin the process of becoming certified. Let’s go Cruelty Free, together.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Every little step helps eliminate animal testing for good. Consider replacing your next makeup product that runs out with a Cruelty Free alternative like COVERGIRL, spread the word about our Leaping Bunny certification, or reach out to a not-yet certified makeup brand and ask them to begin the process of becoming Leaping Bunny certified. Join us in celebrating our certification and supporting Cruelty Free beauty by sharing your excitement with #COVERGIRLCRUELTYFREE and #COVERGIRLMADE!

WHAT DOES “LEAPING BUNNY CERTIFIED” MEAN?

The Leaping Bunny certification from Cruelty Free International is an internationally-recognized certification for cosmetics, personal care and household product brands which are not tested on animals. COVERGIRL products have not been tested on animals, either by us or our suppliers—it’s the toughest standard in the world. To get certified, we underwent a rigorous independent audit of our global supply chain from start to finish, ensuring that ALL of our products are free from animal testing.
