TAKE QUIZ
  1. Apply eyeshadow over your eyeliner to create a softer effect.
  2. Soften eyeliner by rolling its tip between your thumb and forefinger for a few seconds. This will allow you to create a softer line and help minimize tugging on the eye area.
  3. Don't extend eyeliner past your outer eye corner by more than a hint, unless you're creating a cat eye; too much drama tends to be overpowering.
  4. Dark, thick lines under the eye weigh down your eyes. Try a softer, lighter color. If you use brown on top, try taupe on the bottom. Apply a finer line and smudge it, giving the illusion of a shadow cast by thick lashes.
