Classic cat eyes are always in style. These tips work best with liquid liner, but pencil liner does the job just as well.

  1. Dot liner along the lash root from inner to outer corner to intensify your lash line.
  2. Starting at the innermost corner, trace a line that starts as very thin, then gradually gets thicker as it approaches the outside of your pupil.
  3. At the outside of your pupil, begin to subtly slant the line upward, then flick the line upwards and outwards toward the center of your temple.
  4. Carry the line as far as you like. In most cases, about a quarter of an inch looks good. Try a slightly longer line if you're going for more drama.

Pro tip: You can easily touch-up liquid liner smudges with the tip of a damp cotton swab.
