TAKE QUIZClassic cat eyes are always in style. These tips work best with liquid liner, but pencil liner does the job just as well.
- Dot liner along the lash root from inner to outer corner to intensify your lash line.
- Starting at the innermost corner, trace a line that starts as very thin, then gradually gets thicker as it approaches the outside of your pupil.
- At the outside of your pupil, begin to subtly slant the line upward, then flick the line upwards and outwards toward the center of your temple.
- Carry the line as far as you like. In most cases, about a quarter of an inch looks good. Try a slightly longer line if you're going for more drama.
Pro tip: You can easily touch-up liquid liner smudges with the tip of a damp cotton swab.
