Saleisha rocked the runway big-time at New York’s Fashion Week in February 2008. Stepping out in TIBI’s fall collection, this newly-minted model proved without a doubt that she can totally roll with the pros.

In February 2008, Saleisha tore it up on the cover of Seventeen magazine. Besides working it for the camera in gorgeous designer clothes, Saleisha revealed what really makes her a true beauty. "I’m always going to stay grounded—I know where I came from," she said.

Support from her family has meant a lot to Saleisha, who at 21 has already overcome plenty of challenges on her way to the top. She credits both her mom and her grandma for encouraging her to make her high-fashion hopes a reality.
